But above all what is also special about this project is the fact that more than 60 students have worked passionately on it for weeks– many even for months – as volunteers without pay. Everyone on the set and behind the scenes wanted to tell Veysel’s story of how he copes in this foreign city. And you can really feel this passion on the screen. That is something I am especially proud of, and this is why this film will always hold a very special place in my heart.
